First World War Centenary Programme led by IWM

Culture24 is the cultural data provider for the First World War Centenary Programme events calendar, a vibrant global programme that aims to connect current and future generations with the lives, stories and impact of the First World War through events, activities, and online resources.

The Programme is delivered by the First World War Centenary Partnership, a network of local, regional, national and international cultural and educational organisations led by IWM (Imperial War Museums).

This data-sharing collaboration with the First World War Centenary Partnership gives cultural and educational organisations around the world the opportunity to have their activities featured on 1914.org via the DDE database as part of the collective global Centenary commemorations.

The First World War Centenary Programme gives communities around the world the opportunity to discover more about life in the First World War through events, activities and online resources in their local area to commemorate this landmark anniversary from 2014-2018.

To take advantage of this opportunity and get your events and activities out to a wider audience simply fill in the First World War Centenary Partnership registration form to become a member. You can then use Culture24′s DDE service to upload your events, which are shared with www.1914.org.uk and other partners including BBC Things To Do and Visit London.

The Centenary Partnership welcomes non-commercial organisations who are marking the Centenary, including museums, archives, libraries, special interest groups, universities, colleges, schools and community groups.

The Partnership is not currently open to broadcasters, publishers, tour guide organisations, freelance individuals (e.g. artists, historians) or commercial companies but these groups can still get involved.
